Description
Here's some fan art of Solis, a character of a game called Groove on Fight. I've never actually played the game, but I ran into some artwork on the web. The character designs were created by Range Murata, if I'm not mistaken.
Anyway, kept the color treatment pretty sketchy on this one - messed around with some color filters. Plus, I must confess I got a bit lazy and didn't draw the weird futuristic brass knuckle thingies Solis wears in the game.

Yeah, Range Murata did do the character designs! And art for the Power Instinct games previously as well.
Which, brings me to the fact that Groove on Fight is part of the (admittedly weird) Power Instinct series. Both of which are by Atlus.
Groove on Fight was far darker and more serious toned than the Power Instinct games. Still had a little of the same humor that is particular to the series, so it wasn't a total wet blanket of Nolanism. XD
But onto the picture! The art of Solis you did here is cool! I dig how you went about the anatomy and how in making her thicker and a bit more buff than she was, it still fits and doesn't look off or anything, and the subtle changes you did make, she's still recognizable if you know who Solis was beforehand.
I'm interested in seeing you do some more obscure fighting game character art someday now!
